A Sega Genesis with CD attachment in retro form

The Sega Mega Drive (Sega Genesis in the U.S.) was a good console that gave suitable level of competition to Nintendo again in the working day. And that could clarify why Sega is ready to launch a 2nd mini edition of the console, this time with Sega CD video games in tow.

The Sega Mega Generate two will occur packed with 50 game titles that includes a combine of each Mega Travel and CD solutions. Sega didn’t announce a finish listing, but we know it will consist of Virtua Racing, Shining Force CD, Sonic the Hedgehog CD, Fantasy Zone, and Shining in the Darkness. From what we can see in the shots, it will host two USB-A ports as perfectly, presumably for controllers.

Regrettably, Sega only declared the Mega Push two for Japan, at minimum for now. There it will cost ¥9,980 (about $75). But that features all 50 games. You can also purchase an optional beauty accent that gives the device the glance of an hooked up SEGA CD include-on. That accessory involves a mini Sonic the Hedgehog CD disc. The accent will established you back an additional ¥4,500 (approximately $37), but can you truly simply call your self a retro gamer if you really do not go all in and complete the glimpse?

Sega says the Mega Generate two will launch on October 27th in Japan. We can only maintain our breath and see when (or even if) Sega will launch the Mega Push two elsewhere and for how considerably.
