Tesla has reversed one particular of its biggest missteps. It just relaunched Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) in the United States and Canada, giving drivers entry to superior features like automated parking and lane adjustments for $6,00. That’s 50 % the value of the Full Self Driving (FSD) package.
The masterminds at Tesla in the beginning killed off EAP to bolster FSD. Both deals present a similar set of capabilities, although of program, FSD also gives you early entry to “true self-driving.” Which is why it fees $12,00.
However, the Entire Self Driving beta is nowhere close to “true self driving.” And some men and women are not inclined to pay out hundreds further just for the promise of “your car will entirely generate alone, inevitably.”
As a substitute of having to pay $12,00 for FSD, consumers can now devote just $six,00 on EAP. This much less expensive package unlocks Navigate on Autopilot, Auto Lane Alter, Autopark, Summon, and Good Summon. (It’s only missing End Indicator and Website traffic Light handle. And the self-driving beta, of course.)
Shoppers in the United States and Canada can purchase EAP when configuring their Tesla invest in on the internet. Observe that FSD will expand more expensive as it inches nearer to a “true self-driving” system—this could take Tesla various several years, so acquiring FSD now might help you save you a ton of dollars in the long run.
